To be fair, I'm not too sure yet, although it kind of makes sense. At my job we've been trying to implement frontend techniques like Next.js paired with the headless CMS Sanity. Unfortunately that didn't really came to fruition yet. And thus I decided to start working on a blog/portfolio.

As someone who loves music and album art a lot, focusing on implementing something that had to with that was a no-brainer. I created the music widget and a mini "year in review" using the Spotify web api first. The widget uses the album art colour palette of the music that I'm either currently listening to, or the song I last listened to, which I think is pretty cool. Makes the whole thing a bit more personal, right?

Anyhow, I still have a lot to do, building a blog from scratch and all, but it's great fun so far!

As soon as I successfully implemented code formatting and stuff like that I'm going to try and write some coding tutorials about stuff you find on this website as well!
